Located in the five-square-mile White Oak community along the Rt. 29 corridor of Silver Spring, the White Oak Community Recreation Center serves more than 17,400 people living in 6,500 housing units – nearly two-thirds of them inhabited by families.
The White Oak Community Center offers a wide variety of programs and services, ranging from physical fitness and sports to dance, music and art, along with social activities. The outdoor facilities include a multipurpose field, basketball court, two playgrounds and a skating area with ramps.
